Longino Navas Ferrer (1858-1938) was a Jesuitical priest who accrued this fantabulous natural history
collection during his 40 yrs as a teacher. It belongs of almost five hundred examples of craniates, two hundred shells, about hundred fossils, eighty packages of insects containing almost 7000 specimens, and assorted private objectives used in his explore. The collection is on show in the great hall which is on the primary floor of the former module of Medicine and Science of Zaragoza University. The construction also homes the University’s primary library which contains more than 600 publishings by Navas himself.

The Pablo Serrano Museum is committed to the work of the famed Aragonese sculpturer (1908-1985). The former workshops of the bucolic orphanage have been reconstructed and restored to home the collection
belonging to the Pablo Serrano creation; a collection which bindings an area of over 1000m2. A hundred and 15 sculpts are exhibited in chronological order. The collection includes 77 pictures by Juana Frances (Serrano’s wife) and private paperses consisting to the couple. There’s, in accession, a gallery committed to irregular expos. The museum homes about one thousand exhibits, a lot of of which have been found in Aragon during the
archeological minings which began in 1983, while other people come from the the University of Zaragoza’s own collection. Artifacts are exhibited according to their geologic age and paleontological groups. The expo admits an explanation of human development which combines posters and exhibits in show cases. The museum was introduced in 1985 and is in the Geology section of the main campus of Zaragoza University. Guided visits are mainly for school-age chilchildren, given the didactical nature of the collection. Admission is free.
